Tyler Goldstein

Founder and Lead Biomechanist

Tyler is the founder and lead biomechanist of KORE Pitching, with a deep passion for improving pitcher health and performance across all levels of baseball. Over the past three years, Tyler has worked with pitchers from youth leagues to professional teams, bringing a wealth of experience and knowledge to the field.

As a former collegiate softball player, Tyler possesses a comprehensive understanding of the game and the dedication required to excel and sustain a long-lasting career in baseball. In 2022, Tyler joined the University of California, Santa Barbara (UCSB) staff, promoting arm health care for their pitching staff. After two successful seasons at UCSB, Tyler was hired by Loyola Marymount University as the Director of Movement Prep and Injury Prevention for the baseball team, further expanding her influence and impact on pitcher health and performance. Tyler now consults with collegiate and high school teams nationwide, implementing KORE assessments to optimize pitcher health and performance. Her innovative approach has revolutionized how teams approach training and injury mitigation, ensuring athletes reach their full potential while minimizing injury risks.

In 2021, Tyler earned her Bachelor’s from UCSB and returned to school in 2023 to receive her Master’s degree in Biokinesiology from the University of Southern California (USC) where she primarily studies UCL injury risk within the pitching population. Through KORE Pitching, she continues to empower pitchers at all levels to achieve peak performance and maintain long-term health.

Shaye O’Beirne

Co-Founder and Director of Systems

Shaye is Director of Systems with KORE Pitching, overseeing the data collection and integration process for all clients. She is also the designer and developer of the applications used to deliver assessment results to clients. Additionally, Shaye leads the efforts in the development of in-house metrics and predictive models for performance evaluation.

Shaye began her career in baseball working in the Front Office of the Cincinnati Reds with the Baseball Analytics Department. Following her time with the Reds, she was hired by Loyola Marymount University as the Director of Baseball Analytics with the LMU Baseball Program. As Shaye enters her second season with the Lions, she continues her mission to build a robust analytics framework to aid in the program’s success. Shaye has also worked on several research projects within men’s professional basketball.

In 2023, Shaye earned her Bachelor’s in Mathematics, with a double minor in Computer Science and Economics, from Loyola Marymount University. She also earned her Master’s in Business Analytics from LMU’s College of Business Administration in 2024.
